Presented at Hallen 07 in Berlin, Germany, A Womb Welcoming is a monumental soft sculpture exploring the body as a site of origin, transformation, and the divine feminine. Created from reclaimed theater velvet, organic kapok fiber, recycled felt, and recycled thread, the work takes the form of an enveloping, bodily portal, inviting viewers to encounter the womb not as a literal representation, but as an immersive landscape and the place from which all human life begins.
